Nothing gives a cozier vibe to a room than leather bound books. The fact that these two are written in Danish and Norwegian is beside the point ok? They are just exquisite and the leather binding is BUTTERY. They have clearly been so well cared for. These two are not made for the bookshelf - oh no - they need to be able to show off their pretty marbled covers.
The orange cover book is a Danish encyclopedia published in 1909 in Copenhagen.
The pink cover book is a Norwegian encyclopedia published in Malmö in 1956. It has a slight imperfection on the front cover where the protective covering is separating slightly from the marbled cover underneath.
I’m thinking both were part of a larger set at one point and I have no idea how they ended up together.
