These hurricanes are made from a delightfully heavy lead crystal, with a cut pattern that will play beautifully off of the light from a candle inside. The hurricanes come in two pieces, and the base can be used alone with a pillar candle. The candle pocket fits a standard size taper nicely, although I always recommend using wax dots to make sure it is secure.
Condition notes: Minor scratches/very small chips visible near the top of one hurricane. Otherwise, this set is in excellent condition.
